Prices
The price of the accommodation includes the following: Electricity, linen, towels, cleaning, hot water and heating.
Payment
If an overdue balance is not paid by the deadline given within a written reminder, it will be assumed that you have cancelled your booking and the property will become re-available to rent. If the property does not re-book, you will still be liable for the balance.
Pets
The lodges at The Pond are not suitable for pets. Up to 2 pets are allowed in lodges at Queenshill at an additional cost. These must be booked in advace.
Arrival
Your accommodation will be available to you from 4pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy with changeovers.
Notices
You must also note and comply with all verbal or written guidance, especially safety guidance supplied to you by us or one of our staff. You must comply with all notices.
Departure
Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. We pride ourselves in the quality of our accommodation and we're sure you will realise this when you arrive. We ask all guests to leave the property in a clean and tidy state
Care of the Lodges
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible for the care of the lodges and their contents during your stay. We ask that you leave them in the same clean and tidy state at the end of your stay as you find them at the beginning. In the event that additional cleaning is required you will be liable for this and may be charged. The property must not be used for any dangerous, illegal, noisy or immoral activities or be of any nuisance or annoyance to neighbouring properties. Smoking is not permitted in any of the lodges. We reserve the right to terminate your stay at any time if it is felt that any of the above conditions are being broken.
You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you did not report this.
Liability
Barstobrick Holiday Lodges, it’s employees and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, sickness, loss or damage to the property or your personal property, directly or indirectly caused or arising from the use of the properties or access.
Contract
When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post or email. A booking is not confirmed until a deposit is received alongside the booking information.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse to confirm any reservation.
A deposit of £100 is required upon booking. The balance is due 14 days before the commencement of your stay. If you are making your booking less than 14 days prior to your arrival, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
A security deposit of £100 per lodge will be required 1 day before arrival. This will be taken in the form of a pre-authorised payment on the card used to pay for the reservation, which will be released 3 days after departure, assuming that no damage has been reported.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be given in writing, either by letter or e-mail. In order for your cancellation to be confirmed, you must receive an acknowledgement from us, if you do not, you must assume we have not received your communication.
In the event of a cancellation, you will be liable to pay the total amount due, except,
where you are cancelling with more than 14 days’ notice .
Our Right To Cancel
We may cancel your reservation at any time with immediate effect in the following circumstances by giving you written (which includes email) or verbal notice:-
- If Barstobrick Holiday Lodges, or part of it becomes closed due to events beyond our control (including without prejudice to the forgoing generality industrial action, explosion, fire, flooding, failure of power and/or water supplies, emergency evacuation war, terrorism, earthquakes, hurricanes, acts of government, plagues or epidemics – all hereinafter collectively referred to as a ‘Force Majeure Event’)
- If you breach any terms of the contract between us prior to or during your stay at Barstobrick Holiday Lodges (including if you do not pay us when you are required to do so).
- If we in our absolute discretion consider it necessary to protect the health of other guests, staff or the general public.
- For excessive, noisy or disruptive, offensive or illegal behaviour or language towards our staff
- If your conduct results in police attendance or is considered by us to be inappropriate; likely to cause harm; or impair the enjoyment, comfort or safety of anyone; or the reputation of Barstobrick Holiday Lodges, or is likely, in our reasonable belief, to breach any of this agreement.
If we require to cancel your reservation where you are at fault, we reserve our legal rights in respect of your breach of contract including that refunds or compensation will not be given and we reserve the right not to accept any future bookings from you or any member of your party.
Where your stay had/has not yet commenced, the total payment made or to be made by you for such room shall be deemed a cancellation charge and is not for any service.
Cancellation for a Force Majeure Event
In these situations we will look firstly to change your stay date to an alternative date. Failing which, we will issue you a voucher valid for 12 months to the value that you have already paid. Any refunds would be subject to an administration fee equal to 20% of the stay value. This does not affect your statutory rights and is without prejudice to our rights in respect of any antecedent breach by you.
Save as set out above, we will not be liable or responsible for any Force Majeure Event or contingent or consequential losses arising therefrom.
Privacy Policy
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s). With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking if it subsequently transpires that any of the above mentioned conditions have not been met.
