The holiday lodges are nestled in the heart of Red Kite country, just minutes from the main route that takes you through Dumfries and Galloway from the M6 to the A75 and Cairnryan, where the ferry crosses to Belfast in Northern Ireland. This main route links you to all the local attractions, activity centres and the many pretty towns, villages and beaches dotted along the Solway Coast and looking out to the Irish sea.
Getting here is nice and easy. The holiday cottages are not far from the A75, only 5 minutes from the Ringford turn off, following the brown tourist signs thereafter. Barstobrick is only 15 minutes from Castle Douglas; 10 minutes from Kircudbright and 45 minutes from Dumfries. It’s only 1.5hrs drive from the M6 turn off for Gretna or Dumfries and less than 1 hour from Cairnryan.
